The Derby is over. We put on a good show, and the car did fairly well. Unfortunately, the promotor of the derby made the terrible decision to put our little Cavalier into a crowded heat of full-size cars. We got squashed like a bug, but we outlasted most of the other cars.
In the end, we were disqualified because our car was folding up like an accordion. Still, the car was running great, and it drove off the track under its own power. We probably had the best paint job, and we were a definite crowd favorite. Who knows, we may do it again next year, so keep an eye out. Please check out our derby pictures at the link box above.
